Known as one of the hotspots of 23rd St in Vedado, Don Quijote takes its name from a sculpture dedicated to the character on the corner of 23rd St and J. Hence, the appropriation of the name by the family who own the small private restaurant located on 23rd St between I and J seems only natural.
Hence was born the cafe-bar-restaurant in Vedado, a small private food initiative which from 12:30pm to 12:00am seeks to satisfy all walks of life that pass through its doors. 23rd St, connecting various landmarks such as the University of Havana, the Yara cinema and the Hotel Habana Libre proves to be the perfect location for the busy and bustling Don Quijote paladar.
The menu consists of typical Cuban cuisine, ranging from a selection of cold and warm appetizers, to fast on-the-go food and large main meals such as lamb, pork, chicken, seafood or beef, all served with a healthy helping of rice. A wide selection of beverages are also available, a quick espresso being the most popular option.
The service is fast and efficient, leaving customers full and satisfied.
